Karczma Sopa
The restaurant was established in 1994 by the owners, Maria and Jan Zatorski. The restaurant is situated in a refurbished traditional barn, hence the name Sopa which comes from the word szopa meaning barn in the highlander dialect.

The restaurant can hold up to 120 guests. For your disposition there are two levels for dining (main floor and raised attic), a bar and a patio that holds 20 seats in the garden. The regular hours of operation are 16-24, during the summer and winter seasons they are 14-24 but it's happened more than once that our guests have left in the hours of the early morning.

The chef Maciej Kurkowski What gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere is the traditional highlander music (which could be enjoyed while dining or just sitting by the fireplace) and our kind and professional staff members that make your stay a pleasant one.


The chef Maciej Kurkowski, is a graduate of the French culinary school, Pierre A Dubrulle A in Vancouver. The qualities of his traditional dishes are guaranteed with his head
